The first step in any system deployment and integration project is developing a plan to ensure consideration of all tasks and set expectations. The plan's contents depend on the

Change Management

Network and Hardware Installation
The installation, verification and testing of infrastructure components occur early. Bryn teams with an organization's internal resources to ensure all necessary network and hardware components are installed, integrated and configured properly for optimal performance of the application software.

 

Software Configuration and Development
Once application software is installed, Bryn configures and integrates all components. If customizations are required, Bryn codes and unit tests all modules in standard languages such as Visual Basic and C++.

 

System Testing
Bryn puts the system through one or more tests before production deployment to verify functionality, technical correctness, and performance. To ensure comprehensive testing, Bryn utilizes test plans together with test cases and expected results. Test results are verified by both Bryn and client personnel.

 

Documentation and Training
Bryn customizes or creates the following system documentation, as necessary

  • User guide
  • Training manual
  • System administration manual

Bryn believes training should communicate how to use the system based on the organization's business processes, policy and procedures.

 

Document Conversion
A number of possibilities exist to approach document conversion, ranging from converting all files to no backfile conversion at all. Bryn works with an organization to assess which approach, or combination of approaches, is best.

 

Imaging System Support
As part of deployment, Bryn ensures a knowledge transfer takes place to enable ongoing system support and business continuity. Or, if an organization prefers, Bryn also offers imaging/electronic document management system support after deployment.
